Joe Hogan has prepared the first part of his step-by-step tutorial to take you through the stages in the creation of his "Check It Out" LEON demo. To get the tutorial (which will open in your web browser) download and unzip the zip file, via the link on the left.

We have also prepared a basic tutorial video to take you through the basic steps in creating vocal lines and harmonies with Vocaloid. Although this tutorial can be found on the LEON or LOLA product installation discs, we are also providing it here for download. However, as the tutorial is quite long, we've split it into sections for those of you without a fast internet connection.

Download and view the tutorial in separate sections (each of which is compressed as a separate zip file), by clicking on each of the links on the left to download each section in turn. When you have downloaded all the files and unzipped them, watch them in the numbered order. Each section is a .AVI video file which you will find is best viewed in Quicktime Player, at full resolution 1024 x 768 pixels. The sizes of the downloads are:
Part 1: 4.8 Mb.
Part 2: 2.9 Mb.
Part 3: 3.4 Mb.
Part 4: 1.4 Mb.
Part 5: 2.1 Mb.
Part 6: 5.2 Mb

If you prefer (or if you just want to watch the video in low-quality first) you can click on the "Vocaloid Tutorial Video Low-Res (Real Media)" link to download or stream the entire tutorial as a low-resolution Real Media file (approx 9 Mb). However this is much lower quality video! You will need to have the Real Media Player for this, which can be downloaded free, at www.real.com
